- My name is Laura Schnelker....I moved to Madison, NC in September 2011. I have my rug hooking studio Got 3 Bags Wool in my home..we retired to the mountains of Western NC in 2009 from Ohio but the Lord had other plans for us so in September 2010 we moved yet again....we still own our house in the mountains and maybe someday we will go back to "retire"....I love to do rug hooking, dyeing wool, thrift store shopping, flea marketing and most of all planning rug hooking retreats. I have been married for 26 years to Dan who has put up with a lot, we have a 23 year old daughter, Rachel. They both are very involved helping me with my business.
